We’re delighted to announce four internal leadership updates that will strengthen our business strategy and commitment to our customers.

The promotion and alignment of these senior business managers will create business synergies designed to deliver value for our customers and shareholders and demonstrates the strength of the company’s leadership team.

Carl Johnson will expand his current role as head of vendor finance becoming UK Sales Director (Asset).  In his new position, Carl will report to David Foster, managing director of Anglo Scottish, and oversee the UK sales team, as well as develop relationships with strategic customers.  During Carl’s six years with Anglo Scottish, he has been instrumental in leading dynamic growth in the business and developing the vendor finance offering.

Dan Gowland and Geff McGovern have been promoted to Regional Sales Director, Midlands, and Regional Sales Director North, respectively.

Dan has been with Anglo for seven years, holding various positions in the business including head of business sales support, and business development manager.

Geff, who has been with Anglo for four years, has a strong background in finance having been previously employed with a number of funders and completed a BA (Hons) in Financial Economics at the University of Dundee.

The senior asset finance team is completed by Glenn Henry, Regional Sales Director, Scotland & Northern Ireland (Asset). Glenn who has been with Anglo Scottish for just under four years was promoted to the position in 2021 and has been guiding the successful and established team in the region.

“Anglo Scottish’s success has always been built on its people and their passion, and we plan to continue to lean into these core strengths to deliver for our growing base of business and private clients. We are exceptionally pleased to recognise the talents and contributions of Carl, Dan, and Geff, who have been critical to developing our reputation as a trusted partner to our customers” said David Foster, managing director.

David continues “Both Dan and Geff’s knowledge of the business and funder expertise has been a fantastic benefit to the company and will be invaluable in their new roles overseeing the Midlands and Northern teams.”

Carl Johnson commented, “This is a fantastic step forward for the Asset finance team within Anglo, and has cemented our commitment to helping our customers achieve the best possible service while growing our offering.
