David Foster
Managing Director
David was one of the co-founders of Anglo Scottish, which was established in May 2007, and has led the company as Managing Director ever since. His entrepreneurial spirit and drive are backed by a strong foundation in business and asset finance, with previous experience including roles at Bank of Scotland. David has been fundamental to the success of Anglo Scottish, and his leadership and guidance have helped the company grow and develop plans for the future.
Kate Stevenson
Finance and Operations Director
An excellent problem-solver, with extensive knowledge of the business and industry, Kate plays a key role in ensuring Anglo Scottish runs like a well-oiled machine! Responsible for all the accounting and finance functions, along with the business operations activity. Kate has almost 20 years experience as an accountant, having held roles in practice and industry.
Carl Johnson
UK Sales Director (Asset)
Carl was appointed in 2023 following over six years with Anglo Scottish in a number of positions, including Head of Vendor Finance , Carl leads the UK asset sales team and nurtures relationships with strategic customers and vendors. With over 25 years’ experience in the asset finance sector, having worked for a number of institutions in a variety of sales and leadership roles, as well as experience in vendor relationship management, Carl is perfectly positioned to help vendors support their customer’s needs with bespoke finance packages.
Dan Reavley
Head of Motor
With a strong background in motor finance and vehicle leasing, Dan’s finance career began at a young age; joining Black Horse Finance at just 17 as an apprentice, he worked firstly in personal loans before moving to vehicle finance solutions. Since joining Anglo Scottish in 2010, Dan has progressed to the position of Head of Motor and leads a team of business development managers and vehicle finance specialists, who support both commercial and private individuals with tailored vehicle finance.
Glenn Henery
Regional Sales Director, Scotland & Northern Ireland (Asset)
Glenn joined Anglo Scottish in 2019 following a series of senior positions in HSBC, Bank of Scotland and Lombard. Responsible for sales in Scotland and Northern Ireland, Glenn leads a team of business development manager’s who specialise in asset finance solutions.
Geff McGovern
Regional Sales Director Northern England (Asset)
Specialising in Asset Finance, Geff, who has been with us for over four years, has a strong background in finance having been previously employed with several funders, and completed a BA (Hons) in financial economics at the University of Dundee. He was promoted to the position of Regional Sales director in 2023.
Dan Gowland
Regional Sales Director Midlands (Asset)
Dan has been with Anglo for seven years, holding various positions in the business including head of business sales support, and business development manager. Dan’s knowledge of the business and funder expertise has been a fantastic benefit to Anglo and is invaluable in his role overseeing the Midlands team.
Andrew Laird
Head of Agriculture & Food
Andrew joined Anglo Scottish in early 2023, bringing with him over 30 years experience in asset finance, Andrew has specialised in the funding of agriculture and food production for the past 15 years. It is his goal to support businesses in the food and agricultural sector by championing renewable and green energy projects, specialist technology projects including robotics and artificial intelligence, land loans, commercial mortgages, and livestock funding.
Andrew Morris
Head of Vehicle Solutions
Andrew joined Anglo Scottish in 2022 and brings with him over 15 years of personal and business leasing experience, having previously been employed at DF Capital, Lease4Less car & van leasing, and Renault Retail Group.
Allan Hetherington
Prestige Development Director
A vehicle finance expert, with a specialty in high-value, luxury vehicles and a passion for high-quality service, Allan works with the Anglo Scottish team to develop the prestige finance brand, building relationships with the luxury and prestige car dealerships throughout the country. Before working with the company, Allan previously held positions at JBR capital and MotorNovo Finance.
Carolyn Simpson
Senior Marketing Manager
A passionate marketeer with over a decade of experience in B2B marketing strategy and communications, Carolyn works across the businesses providing strategic and practical support across a broad range of activities, covering PR, brand development, website development, lead generation, as well as tele sales. Prior to joining the Anglo Scottish team, Carolyn worked with a number of successful SME’s regionally, nationally, and globally to boost their profile and reputation through targeted and relevant marketing activities.
Gillian Noon
Compliance & Complaints Manager
Joining the business in 2007 as Operations manager and progressing to Compliance & Complaints Manager in 2019. Gillian has grown and developed the Compliance team; embedding policies and procedures, as well as assisting in transforming businesses. She provides an in-house service that effectively supports all departments in their duty to comply with relevant laws and regulations and internal procedures. She’s a great reference for anyone wanting to know more about regulated finance.
Christine Mason
HR Manager
Christine joined the Ango team in 2023, As an HR professional with a wealth of experience working in a number of different industry sectors in senior HR roles. These include Solicitors, Training providers, Dental, Agricultural, and FMG backgrounds. She holds a post Graduate Level 7 CIPD. senior roles include TBI, NFTG, and Learning Curve. Areas of expertise include HR startups, supporting Directors/Managers, Appraisals, Ofsted, KTP Program, Tier 2 Sponsor Nominee, working with Apprenticeship providers, and overseeing training and development.
Simon Dixon
IT Manager
Simon began his career at Anglo Scottish in 2007 in the finance team as a financial controller before realising his passion lay in IT and becoming IT manager in 2015. He is responsible for managing and maintaining the information technology processes and equipment, as well as day-to-day first line support.
Matthew Nichols
Vehicle Sourcing Manager
Matt joined Anglo Scottish in March 2018 after holding previous positions with Arnold Clarke, Simon Bailes Peugeot, and Hertz vehicle rental. He is an expert in vehicle sales along with contract hire and rental agreements. As well as dealing with vehicle sourcing, Matt and his team also work closely with Bath and North East Somerset council to successfully help businesses and private drivers to access grants and upgrade their vehicles to meet the clean air requirement in the city.
Charlotte Enright
Renewables Specialist
Charlotte joined Anglo Scottish in 2021 after holding previous positions with 1st Stop Car Finance and Fusion for Business, where she specialised in helping businesses reduce their energy costs. She is an expert in renewable finance solutions and is responsible for managing renewable projects throughout the country and nurturing relationships between customers and suppliers.
