Andrew Laird joined Anglo Scottish Asset Finance in early 2023, bringing with him over three decades of experience in the asset finance industry. With a career spanning more than 30 years, Andrew has developed deep sector expertise, particularly in agriculture and food production — areas he has focused on for the past 15 years.

In his current role as Head of Agriculture, Renewable and Food Finance, Andrew is dedicated to supporting businesses across the agricultural and food sectors. His mission is to champion innovation and sustainability by facilitating funding for renewable and green energy initiatives, specialist technology projects involving robotics and artificial intelligence, as well as land loans, commercial mortgages, and livestock finance.

Before joining Anglo Scottish, Andrew spent 12 years in sales with De Lage Landen, where he gained extensive experience working with clients in the agricultural sector. He also successfully ran his own asset finance brokerage for seven years, giving him valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by business owners.
