The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced on 11 January 2024 that a review will be conducted in the vehicle finance market regarding Discretionary Commissions. We want to inform our customers that at the time of the announcement and before, Anglo Scottish Asset Finance acted as a broker, not a lender. We are now a broker and lender. THE LOTUS FINANCE SPECIALISTS

FA mainstay in the world of British sports cars, Lotus was founded in 1952 by Colin Chapman, and is headquartered in Norfolk, England. Having previously ventured into Formula One, winning seven world championships, Lotus cars were initially targeted at private racers and trialists, and were sold as kits.

In the 1970s, full factory models became available, and Lotus became renowned for their light weight, fine handling characteristics, and drive for innovation.

Lotus – Elise

THE PRESTIGE FINANCE SPECIALISTS

One of Lotus’ most popular and memorable models is the 1976 Esprit, made famous by the 1977 James bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me, in which Bond famously escapes his foes by turning his Esprit into a submarine.

The Esprit came to represent the high-end performance spec and luxury driving experience provided by Lotus cars, and brought the company further into the public eye. Lotus has continued to innovate, and their current range includes the Elise, the Exige, the Evora, Emira, and the Evija.
With a wide range of Lotus car finance options available, owning a Lotus could be easier than you think.

Lotus finance agreements available include:

HIRE PURCHASE

Hire purchase (HP) is a flexible prestige car finance solution, suitable for financing McLarens. HP consists of monthly payments with the option to buy at the end of the contract, and is our most popular form of finance for specialist and unusual vehicles.

CONTRACT HIRE

A popular form of company vehicle funding and growing as a form of personal leasing, contract hire is effectively a form of long-term rental with fixed monthly payments based on a predetermined mileage.

PERSONAL CONTRACT PURCHASE (PCP)

One of the most popular forms of Lotus car finance, PCP agreements consist of an initial deposit followed by fixed monthly payments, and a balloon payment. At the end of the contract, you can either return the vehicle or pay off your balloon payment to keep it.

LEASE PURCHASE

Also known as a conditional sale, a lease purchase is a great option if you want to own the vehicle at the end of the agreement. Buyers usually pay a cash deposit, or part exchange their old vehicle, before paying fixed monthly instalments over an agreed period. There are no mileage restrictions, servicing requirements, or additional charges, and the car ownership is transferred at the end of the agreement.

VARIABLE RATE

Variable rate finance options are available for agreements on high-value vehicles such as the Lotus Esprit. Unlike other finance options, where the interest is fixed, variable rate agreements track changes in the funder’s house base rate.
